Trump Administration Bans Nearly One Billion Dollars Worth Of Canadian Goods
President Donald Trump and his administration have enacted an import ban on $967 million worth of Canadian goods in retaliation against Canadian counter-tariffs. The ban went into place Tuesday, but what exactly has been banned?
This summer, the Trump administration imposed 50% tariffs on billion of dollars worth of Canadian imports. The Canadian government responded with matching tariffs of 15% to 50% on U.S. goods. Now the White House enacted a total import ban, completely barring specific Canadian items from entering the country.

Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from Canada make up the vast majority of the total value of the ban. More than 53 specific beverage lines have been banned including Molson Coors Canada, Labatt Blue, Crown Royal, J.P. Wiser's, and Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, to name a few.
Some Canadian vehicles are part of this band. Motorcycles and Mopeds, Three-wheelers, such as Can-Am Spyder and Canyon lineups manufactured by Bombardier Recreational Products.

What about the dinner table? Dairy byproducts such as whey products, liquid whey, modified whey, concentrated whey protein products, and molasses.
