It has been an interesting week to say the least when it comes to weather here in the Capital Region. Usually we're used to seeing hot temperatures during this time of August but it has been very cool only seeing things really warm back up for the weekend.

The reason that most of Upstate New York saw this major cool down was because of Hurricane Erin. Now that Erin has moved a bit further away the temps around Albany have turned back to the type of weather we're used to for Upstate New York this time of year.

Will the Capital Region cool down again?

Obviously now that we're getting closer and closer to Labor Day we're going to see things cool down gradually as we head towards fall. The big question is when can we expect more of those below average temps? The answer looks to be next week.

According to Accuweather we could see temperatures in the low 70s and chances of rain early next week. It won't last the entire week, but for a good chunk of it we will feel a bit more like fall.
