About a week ago I wrote about a couple of bizarre Valentine's Day contests that you could enter. One was to win some pink candy-flavored Kraft Mac N Cheese, another was for a chicken nugget bouquet with heart-shaped nuggets, and last but definitely not least was a chance to win an actual Dunkin’ Drive-Thru Wedding!

Well, the Dunkin' drive-through wedding, officially called, “Marriage on the Menu”, was open to couples getting married all over the Empire State. A couple from the Capital Region actually won the contest and are getting ready to get married at the Dunkin' drive-thru and toast with donuts.

Selena Stallmer and Brian Dinsmore, from Niskayuna, will actually get married today at a Dunkin’ drive-thru in Middletown.

To win the contest they had to post on Instagram and tell Dunkin' why they deserved to win. Their winning post talked about having to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic. In part, it read, "I'm Selena and this is my fiance Brian! We've been engaged since July of 2019. We were supposed to be getting married this June but we decided to postpone because of the pandemic. Brian and I both go to Dunkin every morning for coffee."

Not only did the happy couple win the drive-thru wedding, but they also won a bunch of Dunkin’ swag including t-shirts that read "This bride/groom runs on Dunkin", a bow tie, a veil, a  bouquet, a check for $500, professional photos and of course a wedding.

Unfortunately, because of COVID-19 guidelines friends and family can't attend the drive-thru wedding in person, but they can attend virtually through Zoom.

Congratulations to the happy couple.
