
Enjoy A Concert From Inside This Hudson Valley Mine
Saratoga Performing Arts Center is a special place to see a summer show, the Egg is Albany is one of the most unique venues in the world and of course we have the legendary original Woodstock Music and Arts Festival site at Bethel Woods. One thing none of these venues have is a mine.
This July you can experience a live music performance from inside the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, NY.

On Sunday July 13th enjoy the music of the Grateful Dead as performed by 'Gratefully Yours'. Dance and romp to one of the area's best Grateful Dead cover bands in the natural air conditioning of the Widow Jane Mine. Tickets available HERE.
Children are welcome to attend the Gratefully Yours show. Dress for cool temps and for walking on gravel. This event is rain or shine. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time to park and walk to the event.
According to the Century House Historical Society, this large limestone mine is within the 32-square-mile seam of limestone in the Hudson Valley. The history of this destination has been as vast as it's future. Here are some past highlights.

Atlas Obscura reports that some visitors have seen the ghost of the Widow Jane, a young woman in a long white dress wandering through the stone pillars and cavernous rooms.
