Dunkin' Donuts is getting into the beer making business, but there is a catch ...

Dunkin' Donuts has teamed up with Wormtown Brewery in Worcester, Massachusetts to produce a limited release beer they are calling DDark Roasted Brew. The brew is described as a creamy coffee-flavored stout made with Dunkin's dark roast beans.

While coffee stouts aren't knew to the craft beer industry it is a bit of a change of pace for DD. The release is set to coincide with the Winter Solstice which happens to be the darkest day of the year ... and is also tomorrow December 21st.

Now here's the catch, the brew will only be available at Wormtown Brewery’s tap room in Worcester, Massachusetts. However, that is not to far of a drive from the Capital Region and if you happen to be traveling that way for the holiday's anyway you may want to think about making a stop. I hear if you stop in and test on the new brew DD and Wormtown are offering complimentary doughnut pairings too!

As an added bonus The Daily Meal says "both Dunkin’ Donuts and Wormtown Brewery plan to donate $11,500 to the Worcester Food Bank in celebration of their coffee brew."

If Mass isn't in you travel plans tomorrow you can always enjoy a delicious coffee stout from one of the many local breweries right here in the Capital Region.
