First Capital Region Chick-fil-A Opens Today in Albany
Too bad that you have to leave the Capital Region to enjoy it.
They have been teasing us for years, years with the prospect of Chick-fil-A opening in the Capital Region. Alas our dreams of chicken mini's for breakfast had been crushed time and time again as none of the proposed openings got past the planning stages.
Until November of 2017 when it was announced that indeed a Chick-fil-A would be opening in the Capital Region! Then they crushed our hopes and dreams again when in the announcement it was revealed that the first location in the area was going to be inside the Albany International Airport. Not only inside the airport but past the security checkpoint so the only way to get some would be to buy a plane ticket and leave the Capital Region.
Well, after almost exactly 1 year since the announcement the first Chick-fil-A in the Capital Region will finally open ... in the Albany airport terminal. So if you are catching a flight in the near future be prepared to fill a hefty to go order on your way back.
