Former WWE Wrestling Personality Jameson Coming to Capital Region

Former WWE wrestling personality Jameson will be making an appearance at Heroes Hideout in Rensselaer this Sunday, May 20.

Jameson was a  WWE personality portrayed as a nerdy character by John DiGiacomo in the late 1980's/early 1990's. He made several appearances on WWE tv including on the Bobby Heenan Show during USA Network's Prime Time Wrestling. He was also a sidekick to tag team The Bushwackers. Growing up as a child of the 80's, Jameson was a fixture on wrestling television. I personally loved Prime Time Wrestling and the Bobby Heenan Show. Bobby Heenan was hilarious and very edgy during that time. My friends and I were quite surprised at all the "adult humor" that Bobby Heenan got away with on his show and Jameson was a memorable character that helped make the show.
