Car accidents happen every day.

But it's not every day that there are such strange circumstances surrounding car accidents.

An Albany, N.Y., woman, Sarah Espinosa, crashed her car through a New Hyde Park, N.Y., fire station door on Monday night in Nassau County on Long Island, N.Y.

OK, pretty normal so far, right?

But that's where the normalcy ends, WABC reported.

Firefighters who were on duty at the time immediately began assisting Espinosa and what they quickly discovered made the rescue a little difficult.

Espinosa had a stolen python wrapped around her neck. She had stolen the $90 snake from the local Petco. Oh, and she also had a bunch of weed on her at the time.

The accident damaged two fire trucks that were parked at the station.

She was released from the hospital later.

Espinosa has been charged with alleged criminal counts of reckless endangerment, petty larceny, reckless driving, driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Told ya this wasn't your average car accident!
