Fundraising Scammers Knocked On The Wrong Door And Got BUSTED

These two scammers claiming to be on a high school's football team tried to "fundraise" by going door to door, and unknowingly they knocked on the door of the coach for that same football team.

Fox 11 reports that the two scammers knocked on the coach's door and claimed to be players for the Covina football team. The coach, who is also a teacher at the school, told them that he knew for a fact that they weren't on the team and didn't even go to that school.

When one of the scammers insisted that he was, in fact, a running back on the school's football team, the coach asked him to tell him the name of the head coach of the team - he couldn't.

It's unclear if there is any legal action being taken against the scammers at this time.
