Gregg Rolie, founding member of Santana and Journey, two time member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has a new album out. It's his first new studio album in 18 years...and it rocks.

The new album features some familiar faces. Like his onetime Santana band mate Michael Shrieve on drums, Steve Lukather, and fellow Journey alum Neal Schon.

I had the opportunity to talk to Gregg Rolie about the new album, Woodstock's 50th Anniversary and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

"The song was inspired by Ringo Starr and his message of peace and love,” Rolie said in a news release. "I had started writing it, and I would and play around with it at sound checks with Ringo."
