John Carpenter's Halloween will be shown at Proctors in Schenectady this Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7pm.

Presented by It Came From Schenectady, The classic film Halloween (digitally restored and remastered), will include a new intro with Director John Carpenter. The 1978 slasher film stars Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis and is set in the fictional town of Haddonfield, Illinois on Halloween night in 1963. Six yr old Michael Myers murders his sister and is committed, only to only to escape and kill again fifteen years later. The independent film was made on a $300,000 budget but would gross $70 million worldwide. I used to dress as Michael Myers around Halloween time as a kid and scare everyone in the neighborhood in my younger years. Michael Myers is one of my all time favorite movie characters and Halloween is one of my favorite horror films ever. Get out and see it on the big screen!

Tickets for Halloween this Wednesday night at 7pm are $9 for adults and $6 for children, students with ID are available at proctors.org and the Proctors box office at 518-346-6204.
