In case you haven't heard, a pretty scary situation broke out at Crossgates Mall Saturday afternoon where an active shooter was involved. It happened right as dozens of fans were lined up outside FYE waiting for Highly Suspect to arrive to do an autograph signing before their show at the Upstate Concert Hall in anticipation for their new album "The Boy Who Died Wolf," which drops on Friday.

Our very own Promotions Director Nick Kessler happened to be in the store just as the events began to unfold. So before Highly Suspect took the stage at Upstate Concert Hall I got a chance to chat with Highly Suspect drummer Ryan Meyer and Nick about the whole situation. You can listen to our conversation below.

Big thank you to Highly Suspect for picking us back up after a particularly heavy day here in the Capital Region. It's true, music heals. We are thankful that both the fans and the band are safe tonight.
