I’m not a big hummus guy, but if I’m at a party and someone puts it out I’ll give it a try. Now, my wife she love’s the stuff so this recall had me wondering what I had in my fridge. Luckily it turns out we had none of the recalled brands, but just to be safe I threw it out anyway.

Several brands of hummus have been recalled due to a listeria risk. Check and see if you have 7-Select, Schnucks, Roundy’s, Reasor’s, Pita Pal, Lidl, Lantana, Hummus hummus, Harris Teeter, Fresh Thyme, and Bucee’s in your refrigerator, if you do don’t eat it.

Listeria is a serious infection that can cause diarrhea, fever, confusion, and other flu-like symptoms. So far there haven’t been any reports of anyone getting sick from eating the tainted hummus yet, but just to be safe toss it!
