Independence Day Resurgence Trailer

My best guess is that this comes out in the summer.

I have nothing but fond memories of the movie Independence Day. I believe it could easily be described as fun summer romp or other such critic words. I remember Will Smith have cool lines, the cgi being awesome and aliens.

Resurgence's trailer shows us a world after the last movie where we have integrated the aliens technology into our own, but the aliens are most likely pissed and have definitely come back. I hope they didn't 'just finish rebuilding the white house'.
