The founder of one of America's finest reads turns 85 years young today. Hugh Hefner, creator of Playboy, has lived every man's dream for over a half century and prompting the question - is Hef the luckiest man alive?

Since its creation in 1953, Playboy has bankrolled Hef with an alleged 43 million dollars of net worth; helped throw legendary parties, brought him an expected dress code of silk pajamas and a sailor hat and the entire world knows whom you are referring to when you simply say, "Hef".  However, the number one reason why all men wish to walk a mile in his slippers? The list of beauties Hef has had on his arm over the years.  Look at the list of perfect tens that Hef has been linked to:

Donna Michelle: Playmate of the Month, December 1963.

Marilyn Cole: Playmate of the Month, January 1972.

Shannon Tweed: Playmate of the Year, 1982.

Kimberley Cnorad: Playmate of the Year, 1989

Decade after decade, Hef had some serious eye candy by his side.  When the millennium  rolled around, while most men his age were ready to retire, he kept  working (Can we call it work? How can I apply for his position?) at Playboy and still attracted the likes of:

Brande Roderick: Playmate of the Year, 2003

Tina Marie Jordan: Playmate of the Month, March 2002.

In more recent years, you may have seen his bevy of beauties on the reality show, The Girls Next Door.  Hef rolled like a player dating all three reality stars at once: Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt.

Today, Hef celebrates the big eight-five with his fiancé, Crystal Harris. Just think, he's  only 61 years her senior.  My sailor hat goes off to you sir, happy birthday to the luckiest man alive.
