The 1946 classic, It's a Wonderful Life, will be hitting the big screen just in time for the holidays.  The Palace theatre will be airing the timeless film Friday night, December 21st.

It's a Wonderful Life sees James Stewart play George Bailey, a man who does countless good deeds for everyone whom surrounds him in his hometown of Bedford Falls. Endlessly looking out for everyone but himself, George becomes frustrated to the brink when a financial mishap is about to cost him the family business. When the world seems to turn it's back on George Bailey, he makes a simple wish - a wish to have never been born.  An angel grants George his request and after a tour of what life would be without George Bailey in it, George comes to fully appreciate all he has been blessed with.

Friday night, December 21st, you can watch one of the greatest Christmas films of all-time as the Palace Theatre runs It's a Wonderful Life on the big screen! Tickets are only $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.

I used to wait until It's a Wonderful Life was on TV every Christmas Eve.  However, since the Palace has started the tradition of running the film, I've been heading to the theatre instead.  There is just something special about seeing an old classic in the theatre. Holiday spirit, a bucket of popcorn - you can't beat it.  Will you be going this year?
