Tom Brady Makes Unexpected Prediction About Josh Allen

Tom Brady is so much better now that he's not playing football anymore.  After comments like this, it's easier not to hate him, even in Buffalo.

Tom Brady is not known for saying nice things about Buffalo or the people who live here.  For years he was a thorn in the side of Buffalo Bills fans.  As much as we hate to admit it, he owned the Buffalo Bills.  That's what makes this sound even better as a Bills fan.

Brady picks Josh Allen to be next to win his first Superbowl

Brady was recently on a podcast with someone named Vic Blends.  On his podcast Deep Cuts he asks questions of his guests as he gives them a haircut. He was asked everything from parenting questions to what he feels about the current state of quarterback play.  But the one that stood out for Bills fans was when he was asked which quarterback he thought would be the first to win a Superbowl (that hasn't already won one).  This was his answer.

Not only did he mention that he thought it would be Josh but that he likes him as a guy and as a leader.  Then he added that they still have to get past the Chiefs and that's not easy to do.

He didn't pick him to win the NEXT Superbowl

It's pretty important to point out that he didn't pick him to win the NEXT Superbowl.  He just said that he thinks he will be the next to win his first Superbowl.  There's a difference there.

Who else could it have been?

That's a huge compliment to Josh Allen from the former New England Patriot.  Brady could have mentioned a ton of other quarterbacks like Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, or Brock Purdy.  All of them have already been to the Superbowl.  They just haven't won it.  Lamar Jackson already has two MVP awards under his belt and he didn't mention him.

So there's something that people outside of Buffalo are seeing in Josh Allen. We will see if a complete change in weapons is good for Allen this year or if it shows that it was his weapons that made him who he was.
