The New York Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and the entire basketball world is upset about it.

Well, Knicks' fans are pretty thrilled about the win, but almost everyone else is mad.

Most notably, the officials mistakenly called a "kicked ball violation" against Indiana, which led to a change in possession, and an eventual three-pointer made by Donte DiVincenzo.

Many Knicks' fans, including actor Jerry Ferrara, were upset about this narrative, and responded via social media:

He knows ball, and he's passionate about his team. So, when the Knicks were getting slandered online, Ferrara jumped to their rescue. The actor has a large following on social media, and a handful of those followers responded to his tweet on the matter.

It's absolutely fair to say that New York has benefited from multiple calls, and non-calls, during this playoff run. Is it a concerted effort by the league to help New York win games?

Well, that's for you to decide, not me.
