Pete Rose, Former MLB Star, Dead at 83
TMZ reports that the baseball legend died of a reported heart attack.
The sports world has lost an icon. We're saddened to report that one of the greatest hitters in the history of the MLB has passed away. Pete Rose died at 83 earlier today at his home in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.
"Charlie Hustle" will forever be remembered for both his historic career as well as the controversy leading to his ban from Major League Baseball. No one in MLB history has been able to top Roses's hit record, 4,256 over a 24 year career.
