Gerrit Cole is dealing with an arm injury, and fans of the New York Yankees are fearing the worst.

Cole was not recovering between starts as quickly as normal, and after being examined by doctors, it was revealed that Cole had sustained damage to his ulnar collateral ligament, or UCL.

Then, we got this update on Thursday:

Dr. ElAttrache is a world-renowned orthopedic surgeon, who has worked with some of the best athletes in the world. His client list includes, but is not limited to, Aaron Rodgers, Kobe Bryant, Tom Brady, Shohei Ohtani and Zack Greinke.

Cole is certainly in good hands with Dr. ElAttrache, but that didn't make Thursday's visit a welcome one for the right-hander. This is a tense time for Cole, for his family, and for the New York Yankees.

That's what made this video, filmed by an over-zealous reporter who saw Cole at the airport, so problematic:

Cole was trying to make his way into the airport peacefully, and this person would not leave him alone. Clearly, the Yankees' ace does not want to talk about this situation in public, and who can blame him?

Baseball fans were quick to respond to this video, which was posted on X on Wednesday:

This person (maybe journalist is a stretch here) crossed that line with Gerrit Cole.
