A New Albany County Farmers Market Bringing Fresh Produce & More

Many cities and towns in and around the Capital Region hold farmers' markets throughout the summer. Now Albany County has announced its own to begin this weekend.

What Will The Albany County Farmers Market Offer?

Along with fresh produce and healthy food options, the Albany County Farmers Market will have twenty to thirty vendors selling organic produce, meats, eggs, poultry, coffee, craft beverages, artisan cheeses, handmade jewelry, and local art. There will also be local musicians.

Where and When is The Albany County Farmers Market?

The farmers' market series will start this Sunday outside of the MVP Arena on South Pearl Street. It will take place on the third Sunday of the month through October. It will happen from noon until 4 pm.

This Sunday's Albany County Farmers Market will feature a cooking activity by Honest Weight Food Co-op. Vendors will include A Caffeineited Painter, Ardith Mae Farmstand, Celebrations of Albany, Eight Mile Creek Farm, Euphoria Gourmet Soap, Great Exbaketations, High Peaks Distilling, Modern Wickcraft, Motor Oil Coffee, New Scotland Spirits, Nude Dwellings, Stacks Espresso Bar and The Red Bookshelf.
