The Adirondack Trolls Have Arrived: See Where to Find Them
Rollin' Out the Trolls
After months of anticipation, the trolls have officially arrived in the Adirondacks - and they look pretty awesome...
Visitors can now experience TROLLS: Save the Humans at The Wild Center, where six giant troll sculptures created by world-renowned artist Thomas Dambo are hidden throughout the museum's forest trails.

Anything But Ordinary
Known for his larger-than-life creations made from reclaimed materials, Dambo has installed troll sculptures around the world. Now, Adirondack visitors can explore the woods and discover these incredible works of art right here in Tupper Lake.

These aren’t your typical statues. The Wild Center says that each Troll is built from reclaimed materials and placed in the natural landscape, blending art, storytelling, and environmental awareness.

Exhibit Runs Through Halloween
Each of the six Trolls has its own personality. Basse Buller paints with mud, Ibbi Pip spreads hope through birdhouses, and Kamma Can turns trash into treasure. Others, like Ronja Redeye, Rosa Sunfinger, and Sofus Lotus, focus on leadership, plant life, and the quiet sounds of nature.
The exhibit runs through October 31st, and is included with your paid admission to the Wild Center.
If you're planning a visit this summer, organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance to make the experience as smooth as possible.

Visitors can also take part in the Adirondack Troll Adventure, an interactive scavenger hunt that sends explorers searching for hidden troll-themed surprises at local businesses and attractions throughout the region.
Whether you're a longtime Adirondack resident or planning a summer getaway, these giant trolls are shaping up to be one of the region's most unique attractions of 2026.
