Albany’s Alive at Five Announces Full 2026 Concert Schedule

Albany’s Alive at Five concert series is returning in 2026 with a lineup featuring national acts, local performers, and performances at several locations across the city.

Mayor Dorcey Applyrs announced the schedule on Tuesday morning at the Washington Park Lakehouse, and here's what's up for this year’s Alive at Five concert series. 

June 4 – R&B Night at Jennings Landing

June 11 – Emo Night at Jennings Landing

June 18 – Hip-Hop Night at Tri-Centennial Park

• B.o.B
• Aila Chiar & DJ King Bully

June 25 – Afrobeats Night on Broadway in Albany’s Warehouse District

• You, Me & Afrobeats Party featuring DJ TGIF, Soular Sounds & Afrellie

July 9 – Classic Rock Night at the Washington Park Lakehouse

• FJ: A Tribute to Foreigner and Journey featuring Dom Domenech
• Ginger Geezus

July 16 – Funk and Jam Night at the Washington Park Lakehouse

• Pigeons Playing Ping Pong
• The NolaNauts

All performances are free and scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

What About Country Music?

Now… not to make TOO big a deal out of this…but for a region where country music absolutely dominates concert sales, radio, SPAC parking lots, and backyard Bluetooth speakers…There’s not a single country act on the schedule.

No country night. No boots. No trucks. Not even a guy named Tyler singing about heartbreak and Busch Light near the Hudson River.

Still, the city deserves credit for putting together a pretty diverse lineup spanning multiple genres and neighborhoods throughout Albany this summer.
