
‘We Need Your Help’: Family Desperate to Find Missing Upstate NY Teen

New York State Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 16-year-old girl in Upstate New York.
According to State Police, troopers from SP Albion are searching for Carmella Rowe, 16, of Orleans, New York, about 40 minutes northwest of Rochester. Police issued the request for public assistance on Sunday, August 16th.

Rowe is described by State Police as 5 feet 4 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. As police continue their efforts to locate the teenager, her family is also desperately trying to get the word out.


Grandmother Pleads for Help
Rowe’s grandmother, Kim Cannioto Rowe, shared an emotional plea on social media, asking people to share information about her granddaughter’s disappearance.
“This is my granddaughter,” she wrote, adding that the family is “beside ourselves and need to find her ASAP.”

She also stressed that police have been working to locate Carmella and urged anyone who may have seen her or knows something about her whereabouts to come forward. State Police have not provided additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
