Jerry Seinfeld Announces Tour Dates in Upstate: Get Ready to Laugh Out Loud
Jerry Seinfeld fans in the Upstate area have something to look forward to this year, as the legendary comedian has announced three upcoming tour dates in the region. Seinfeld, widely regarded as one of the funniest people in show business, will perform at the Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo on April 21, the Broome County Forum Theatre in Binghamton on May 5, and the Rochester Auditorium Theatre on June 2. Each city will feature two shows, one at 7 p.m. and one at 9:30 p.m.
Seinfeld, best known for his sitcom that ran for nine seasons in the 90s, is no stranger to Upstate New York; he briefly attended SUNY Oswego before dropping out to pursue a career in stand-up comedy in New York City. Throughout his career, Seinfeld has become one of the most successful comedians ever, thanks partly to his role on "Seinfeld" but also due to his stand-up specials, movies, and TV hosting gigs.
In recent years, Seinfeld has continued to churn out new material, including a 2020 stand-up special called "23 Hours to Kill." He also hosts the popular web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," which features Seinfeld taking drives in fancy cars with other comedians and engaging in witty banter. Most recently, Seinfeld has announced that he will direct and star in an upcoming movie, "Unfrosted," about Pop-Tarts, and I can hear the witty Seinfeld banter now.
If you're a fan of Jerry Seinfeld, then mark your calendars for one of his upcoming shows. And even if you can't make it to the performances, there's never been a better time to rediscover Seinfeld's classic sitcom or check out some of his recent work. Whether you're laughing along with "Seinfeld" or marveling at his ability to find humor in the mundane, there's no denying that Jerry Seinfeld is one of the great comedians of our time.
