Over the weekend, comedian Jimmy Fallon visited Upstate New York, surprised guests at a neighborhood bar, and even visited a popular restaurant. Fallon was spotted in pictures, tending bar, joining the house band for a tune and just having fun with fans.

Most of the world knows Jimmy Fallon as the Saturday Night Live alum, comedian, film star, and late night television host of "The Tonight Show". Did you know that Fallon is no stranger to Upstate New York?

Fallon was born in Bay Ridge, NY but spent his youth living in Saugerties, NY while his dad worked in Kingston. Capital Region residents know that Jimmy is one of the most famous individuals to attend the College of St. Rose in Albany. When he received his BA in Communications, the graduation ceremony was held at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

Considering his native New York roots, it may not surprise you that Jimmy Fallon showed up in Greece, NY over the weekend but it sure was a surprise to those in the neighborhood bar he popped into.

According to News 8 WROC in Rochester, Jimmy Fallon wasn't rubbing elbows at the Grammy Awards Ceremony in California over the weekend. On Saturday he was in Upstate New York. Fallon made surprise appearances at a few local spots, including Mulconry's Irish Pub.
