Two decades ago it started as a beginning of a movement.   Created in 1991 by Janes Addiction's Perry Farrell as a farewell tour for his band, Lollapalooza ran annually until 1997, then revived in 2003.   This year is the 20th anniversary.  Find out who is going to be there.
Lollapalooza has featured a diverse range of bands and has helped expose and popularize artists such as  Janes Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Arcade Fire, Nine Inch Nails, , Soundgarden, The Smashing Pumpkins, Muse, Alice in Chains, Tool, Hole, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Strokes, Lady GaGa ,and Green Day. 

This year will be no different as another diverse collection of bands are set to play Lollapalooza August 5th -7 th at Grant Park in Chicago.   Eminem, Foo Fighters, Muse, Coldplay, A Perfect Circle are among the 70 bands scheduled to perform.  To see the complete list click here.
