For many years, the Tobins First Prize building has stood staring at 1-90 motorists as they drove past in Albany. Now you can get a look at the former meat-packing plant in these new photos from Northeastern Abandoned Exploration.

While several developers have had interest in rehabilitating the property, nothing has happened so far. According to the Times Union, ownership of the property was transferred to a private partnership in April 2015.

Dan Laroe, a Capital Region resident, photographs abandoned buildings throughout the northeast as a hobby for his Facebook page, Northeastern Abandoned Exploration. Check out more photos from the Tobins First Prize, and other cool buildings in the northeast, on his Facebook page.
