We’re hoping to reunite this pup with their family as soon as possible! Found in the Clifton Park area.
To my untrained eye I would say this doggo is healthy and in good condition. Perhaps he/she just lost it's way, chased a squirrel or decided to explore the greater Clifton park area for a while, solo.
All kidding aside I am certain the furry one's family is worried about this pup and would love to have him back. Have you seen it' family taking him for a walk in your neighborhood? Maybe you recognize his collar and leash?
Come on Capital Region! Let's see if we can get this good boy or good girl back home tonight. If you recognize this dog or have any information that could help locate the owner, please contact Clifton Park Animal Control at 518-371-6756.
Typically when Troopers find a dog, they will eventually take it to a local animal shelter, a contracted animal control facility, or a humane society. The dog can be held for a "redemption period," which can be 5 to 9 days depending on if it had a municipal tag.
