This is just deplorable but a shout-out goes to the Albany Police department for bringing this man down before he could take more.

Thanks to the diligence of the APD's Criminal Investigation Unit, they were able to arrest an area man who they say stole nearly $1M dollars from a club that provides support to various charitable organizations in the community, including annual donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

According to a Facebook post and information released by the APD, detectives arrested Kenneth Frodyma, a 38-year-old Fuera Bush man, and a member of the Polish American Citizen’s Club, which is located at 110 Commerce Avenue.

Police say that between September 1st, 2019, and December 31st, 2021, Frodyna stole in excess of $900,000 dollars, how did he do it?

According to the Albany Police Department, Frodyma was the person responsible for handling the organization's finances, and he simply withdrew the money from various accounts and used the cash as if it were his own.

Police say that some of the money taken was supposed to go to sick kids at the St. Judes Children Research Hospital - they did not disclose the names of the other charities he jacked.

Frodyma, according to the Albany Police, has been charged with one count of Grand Larceny 2nd.
