McDonald’s Arch Deluxe Cheeseburger Set to Return
McDonald's is getting ready to bring back one of it's biggest failures from the 90's.
According to aol.com, McDonald's is bringing back a revamped version of the Arch Deluxe (one of it's biggest and most expensive failures) for a test run. The fresh beef burger called the Archburger will be available at select locations initially. Only seven locations in Oklahoma and Texas will carry the delicious goodness. The original Arch Deluxe was a flop in the late 1990's. It was billed as a burger for sophisticated customers aka adults and an estimated $200 million was spent in marketing the burger. The Arch Deluxe featured a quarter pound of beef on a split-top potato flour sesame seed bun with bacon, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, onions, ketchup, and the secret Arch Sauce. The Arch sauce was the best part of the burger consisting of a mustard and mayonnaise blend. I loved the Arch Deluxe!
