It's not every day that you have the opportunity to meet a NASCAR driver in person but today is that day! Here is your chance to meet the driver of the #1 Camaro in the NASCAR Cup Series for Trackhouse Racing, Ross Chastain.

Ross Chastain, a Florida native, lived on a family farm growing watermelon. With more than 200 starts in the last 4 seasons Chastain has become NASCARS busiest driver and yet he still has time to meet you, this week in New York.

According to a press release, the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) is making it possible for NASCAR fans to meet DGM Racing Xfinity Series driver Ross Chastain on Thursday, September 12th in Watkins Glen, NY.

Chastain will join the GTSC at the Schuyler County Courthouse, 105 9th Street in Watkins Glen, to promote the importance of seat belt use through the “Protect Your Melon” campaign. Who better to promote "protect your melon" than a former watermelon farmer turned NASCAR driver?

Fans will actually have three opportunities to get autographs and meet Chastain. Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon and again at 1pm to 3pm. Chastain will also be at the Department of Motor Vehicles booth at Watkins Glen International on Sunday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. for a brief appearance.

I am once again looking forward to working with the New York State Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee on the Protect Your Melon program in Watkins Glen. This program highlights the importance of highway safety, specifically seat belt use, and the impact it has on saving lives across the state. - NASCAR Driver Ross Chastain

The largest NASCAR driver home includes an indoor aquarium and more than 19,000 square feet of living on 415 acres. The No. 10 home on this list of the 10 most expensive is hardly a postage stamp by comparison.

Taste of Country recently compiled the priciest NASCAR driver homes, and while a few famous names make the list, a few not-quite-as-famous names do, too. Dale Jr., Denny Hamlin, Danica Patrick and the Busch brothers are a few of the drivers to look for on this list of mega-mansions. See pictures of all 10 and a full home tour of the No. 1 house.
