This is the latest in a series of remastered, reissued releases for Metallica. Dude, I remember when ReLoad was originally released in November of 1997. There was mixed anticipation for ReLoad because it followed the album 'Load' and many Metallica fans were disappointed at the band's more mainstream sound.

The album was very well received de to the success of singles such as 'Fuel', 'The Memory Remains', 'Better Than You', and 'The Unforgiven II". ReLoad would prove to be bassist Jason Newsted's last studio album with the band.
