Monday night, R.A. Dickey continued his amazing season by pitching his second on-hitter in a row. Is he the best pitcher in the game? The last time a pitcher through consecutive one-hitters was in 1988. Dave Stieb of the Blue Jays was who did that, but Dickey has done more than just that. He's allowed no earned runs in five straight starts. Incredible. At 37 years old, has this knuckleballer finally come into his own?

Obviously Dickey is likely to start for the National League in the All-Star game, and right now should be a serious contender for the NL Cy Young award. It's really amazing that he has such command over a pitch like the knuckleball. Met fan or not, his story is pretty awesome. You can't help bur root for the guy.
