New York State Police Cracking Down At Summer Concerts in Saratoga!

The 2024 summer concert season got off to a hot start with big draw artists such as Hozier, Lainey Wilson, John Fogerty and Brooks & Dunn making their way to the Broadview Stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC). We are just getting started but don't want you to get carried away, with the partying that is.

New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) are teaming with New York State Police, New York State Liquor Authority and State Park Police to crack down on the use of fake IDS. DO NOT attempt to purchase alcohol at SPAC or any New York amphitheater this summer.

Operation Prevent is currently underway and will continue until September 17th. Here are some of the venues where sweeps will be conducted;

• Saratoga Performing Arts Center
• Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater
• Darien Lake Performing Arts Center
• CMAC in Canandaigua
• Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheatre at Lakeview in Syracuse

Should you be caught using a false ID to buy alcohol you could be ticketed and your license could be suspended or revoked for a minimum of 90 days or up to one year.

During the 4th of July holiday week there are a few BIG shows scheduled for SPAC in Saratoga Springs, NY. Authorities are certain to be present and looking to prevent the use of fake IDs.
