Q1057 and 1035's Mike Karolyi caught up with Dirty Honey's lead singer Marc LaBelle this week to talk about the Niskayuna native's homecoming, the band's latest album and life on the road. Karolyi and LaBelle also discuss favorite Capital Region spots, past and present, such as Gus's Hot Dogs and Saratoga Winners. Listen to the interview below.
Dirty Honey released their self-titled debut album in 2021 and followed that with "Can't Find the Brakes" in 2023. On the strength of singles such as "Rolling 7's", "When I'm Gone" and "Won't Take Me Alive" the band have headlined venues around the globe and had the opportunity to share the stage with Guns 'N Roses and the Black Crowes at SPAC.
In this latest interview on Q1057 and 1035, LaBelle talks about meeting Steven Tyler of Aerosmith in Albany, attending shows at the Pepsi Arena, Northern Lights and Saratoga Winners. He also shares his thoughts on playing legendary venues such as Red Rocks in Colorado. Listen to the interview below.
