Earlier this year it was reported that New York State Police were attempting to locate 2 individuals that they suspected had stolen nearly $2000 worth of merchandise from the Walmart in Queensbury. That incident allegedly took place in February and now, 6 months later, the suspects have been arrested.

On Friday February 25th at approximately 10:30pm, video surveillance recorded two individuals walking out of the Walmart on State Route 9 in Queensbury with what appears to be a shopping cart filled with unpaid items.

These two individuals are suspected of larceny of $1,900 worth of merchandise including toys for a young child, a shirt and several other items. New York State Police quickly asked the public for help in identifying those involved. Below you will see the the vehicle they arrived and departed in.

If the police have the correct suspects it is interesting to not that each of them reside between 3 and 4 hours away from Queensbury. Here is what the suspects looked like on the date of the larceny.

This month New York State Police arrested 2 individuals they feel meet the description of those they have been searching for. On Sunday August 28th State Police arrested 27-year-old Shyla S. Stafford of Dresden, NY. On Monday August 22nd State Police arrested 28-year-old Brandon W. Flint of Hornell, NY.

Both Stafford and Flint are charged with 2 counts of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and two counts of Conspiracy in the Fifth Degree. Each individual was processed at State Police headquarters in Queensbury and turned over to the Warren County Correctional Facility to await further court action.
