'As You Are' a film shot in and around the Capital Region premieres at the Spectrum in Albany on Friday. So we caught up with writer/director Miles Joris-Peyrafitte to get the low down on the film and all the festivities.

Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, an Albany native and Albany Free School alumni, along with his childhood friend Madison Harrison wrote, directed, and filmed an indie film called 'As You Are'. The film premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and now it's finally about to make it's way into theaters across the country starting right here in Albany where it all began and where it will premiere at the Spectrum on Friday, March 3rd.

We recently got a chance to catch up with Miles Joris-Peyrafitte who not only gave us the run down on the film but told us why he chose to shoot here in the Capital Region and how a program now called YouthFX helped them really get their start. You can listen to our full conversation below:

The Albany premiere of 'As You Are' is happening at The Spectrum on Friday, March 3rd at 7 pm. Tickets are available for $20 online by clicking HERE with all the proceeds benefiting the YouthFX program in Albany.
