May is National Burger Month and to help celebrate Red Robin decided to offer a Bottomless Burger Pass! Customers fortunate enough to obtain a Red Robin burger pass would get to enjoy 1 gourmet burger and bottomless sides every day in the month of May! Sounds great!

Turns out this was not a great experience for burger fans as the Red Robin website crashed and many are calling the Bottomless Burger Pass promotion a scam. Here's how customers from New York and across the country reacted on social media.

The $20 Bottomless Burger Pass was made available starting Thursday April 17th at 9am. Sounds similar to getting ready to purchase concert tickets to the hottest show in New York.

Earlier this year, as reported by WGNA, the American burger chain Red Robin was considering closing as many as 70 locations in an attempt to pay off some of the company debt.
