Tonight, Thursday August 15th at 7:00 pm relive three days of peace and music on Q1057. On this, the 50th anniversary of the historic festival that became the icon of the late 60's we relive Woodstock with a hour long special. Woodstock started on this day 50 years ago and was scheduled to conclude on the 17th. However, the festival was running way behind and Jimi Hendrix closed out Woodstock early in the morning on the 18th. During the height of the concert weekend there were an estimate 500,000 people at Yasgur's Farm, but by the time Hendrix took the stage there were less then 200,000.

Starting at 7:00 pm, Q1057 will transport you back to a different time with the music from Woodstock, some of which you've never heard before. Also, interviews from 1969 and current interviews from the performers like Grace Slick, John Fogerty, Pete Townshend and Janis Joplin. Hear from the organizers and officials that came to the aid of the concertgoers.

If you miss the Woodstock 50th Special tonight, or you just enjoyed it so much you want to hear it again....it will replay at 8:00 pm Saturday night.
