Schenectady Establishment Nixes Gun Show

Guns can be quite the controversial topic among people in today's day in age. One Schenectady location has indeed turned down hosting a gun show in the Electric City.

You may recall a while back hearing the news that the Gun Show in Saratoga indeed would not be returning. After the organizer of the event, David Petronis lost out on hosting it at the Saratoga Springs City Center, he had hoped to move it to the Schenectady Armory. As of Friday, it was made public that they would also not be hosting the gun show.

 “determined the timing for a show of this nature is not right for the community and therefore the show will not be held at the facility.” - Schenectady Armory (CBS 6)

Petronis was upset about the announcement but is not giving up on making the gun show a reality and is reaching out to other venues who may be willing to host the event.
