Many on social media have shared their photos of the wild fires in the Hudson Valley. They are both stunning and heartbreaking. 

Our hearts breka for those affected by the wildfires in the Catskill Mountains right now. The affects of those fires could be felt here in the Capital Region on Sunday as smoke poured into parts of Upstate New York.

An air quality warning was issued as well. Currently there are about 400 acres affected by the wildfires in Orange and Sullivan counties and the DEC and firefighters working to battle the fires.

It has captured the attention of those on social media who have shared some captivating photos and videos of the incidents.

With recent drought conditions, there have been multiple wildfires ignited across the state, and we have deployed state assets and agencies to coordinate with local first responders. - Gov. Hochul

That's what the governor had to say on Saturday.

Right now the biggest reasons for the amount of fires and how they're spreading is not only the wind but the drought as well. While crews battle these fires, there's no telling when they will under control or when it will end. Experts say that the drought and dry conditions could last another two months.

All we can hope is that everyone remains safe as there has already been one life lost fighting these fires.
