This is a band I have heard a lot of people wanting back for another concert.  Well you have your wish because they are returning to the Capital Region.

The South African rockers are back and bringing a brand new album with them.  The guys in Seether have taken a bit of time off since their last album, 2007's Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces. That album produced several big hits for them including "Rise Above This", "Fake It" and the cover of Wham's! "Careless Whisper".  The success of the album was huge peaking at #9 on the Billboard 200 list and #5 on the US Rock charts.  It will hard to top it's success but the new album is already making some noise.

After supporting Nickelback on the 2009 Dark Horse tour the guys took a year off to work on the new album called Holding On To Strings Better Left To Fray and is set to hit stores on May 17.  They already have one single off the album, "Country Song" which is not a country tun by any means.  The guys spent time in Nashville recording the new album and that is where the name came from.

In some ways I guess I was dealing with growing up and having to make better life choices. It's definitely not country, but we recorded the album in Nashville, and felt like it was a small homage to such a wonderful city.

-Shaun Morgan (Seether front man)

We have been playing "Country Song" on Q103 and so far the feedback has been nothing but positive.  Seether fans are loving it and it has caught the attention of new fans.  Just in time for the new album Seether returns to the Capital Region for another show!  They will be at Northern Lights in Clifton Park on May 19, just 2 days after the albums release.  The tickets go on sale this Saturday 10am at all Ticketmaster locations, the club Box Office and Deja Vu.
