St. Lawrence Nurseries, located in Potsdam, NY, is an organic nursery specializing in cold-hardy fruit and nut trees. This year you could say they also specialize in one giant snowman.

During winter months, according to the St. Lawrence Nurseries Facebook page, the streets of Potsdam used to be full of snow and ice sculptures. Area friends, neighbors and staff decided it was time to bring that back.

What a great creation by all involved and it appears the community love this giant snowman as well;

  • "Wow, he's awesome! Great idea and a treat for everyone able to drive by and see him!" - Judy W. on Facebook
  • "Absolutely awesome, I can only imagine how much time and effort went into building this giant snowman, it's a true masterpiece, congratulations to the team! Great team, got the job done." - Carl Faye J on Facebook

The folks at St. Lawrence Nurseries encourage you to stop by, take pictures and enjoy the magic of the North Country. Watch this video created by Travel St. Lawrence NY.
