Back in December we all heard the shocking and terrible news that Rob Reiner and his wife had passed away in their home in Los Angeles, CA. The news that they were killed by their own son took many of us by surprise and people from all around began to mourn the loss of this legend. It's such an incredibly tragic thing to have happen. Many tributes came out and now one Capital Region movie theater is doing their own tribute to Reiner in January and February.

The Spectrum says they'll be paying tribute to Reiner in both January and February. So far they have releases show times for showings of The Princess Bride, Reiner's 1987 fantasy film. That is one movie that is absolutely beloved by me, and I think I will have to head the the theater to see it properly.

The Princess Bride Showtimes

  • Sunday January 18 4pm
  • Tuesday January 20 7pm
  • Thursday January 22 4pm
  • Friday January 23 9:30pm
  • Monday January 26 8pm

Those are the only showing that have been released by The Spectrum so far. Hopefully we get to see a few other Reiner movies for January and February. Spinal Tap is my other favorite from him and it would be incredible to see that back on the big screen.

Make sure you're following The Spectrum on their social media for updates and they always have current showtimes listed on their website. One of the best things about it being at The Spectrum is they might have the best movie theater popcorn in the entire Capital Region and I am willing to die on that hill.
