Part old school, part new school.

The San Diego Comic-Con has brought us a ton of trailers for movies on the horizon, including Star Wars Episode VII : The Force Awakens. J.J. Abrams is heading up the new movie, and he's been described as a fan.

Much of the displeasure from the prequels came from an over use of CGI. It was new and allowed for some neat stuff, but that didn't really capture Star Wars correctly. Part of the charm of the originals was that just about everything was real, it had to be.

Episode VII is returning to real locations sets and models, but of course will also use some CGI to enhance everything.
