The third season of HBO's 'The Gilded Age' returns to the Capital Region this fall. They will film in the usual spots in Troy, but they may also add another city to their filming locations.

With all the movie and TV productions that seem to be filming all the time in Upstate New York, you've got a pretty good chance to run into your favorite celebrity. Here's a list of celebrities that live in Upstate New York.

Troy's big Hollywood August starts a day early, with roads closing for the filming of a new TV show pilot before Gilded Age season two location shoots start.

The first season of HBO's "The Gilded Age" was filmed in Troy and the entire downtown area was transported into the late 19th century. The producers loved filming in the area so much, they decided to come back this summer to film season two of the hit show.

You seem to have a pretty good shot at being an extra on this production because they are looking for about 200 locals to be part of HBO Max's reboot of "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin".

The Capital Region has been a hotbed for filming lately and now it's Schectady's turn to get back in the action. The Schenectady Armory is being used, starting today, for the production hub for the "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin" reboot.

The next city in the Capital Region to be a backdrop for a tv series is Schenectady. Showtime will be setting up on Upper Union Street to use as the backdrop to a series called "Three Women" next week. There will be some traffic alterations in that area of Schenectady.

Add another television show filming in and around the Capital Region. This time cast and crew are in the North Country ready to film season six of "Billions" on Showtime. If you are interested you have a chance to be cast as an extra. They are looking for locals in the Bolton Landing area.

Yesterday was my big day to be in an NFL commercial that will be seen by millions of people. I know! So crazy. I still can't believe they picked me. I found out that I was one of only seven people selected to have a speaking role. The commercial I was cast for was as a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan on a boat with another guy watching Tom Brady throw a winning touchdown. We were to cheer loudly and say, "stat that".

I was super excited last week when I found out that I was selected to be in an Amazon NFL commercial. When I sent my video in I thought I was trying to be cast as a Buffalo Bills Fan. I found out that was not the case. Apparently, I will be a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan in a boat. I had the fitting yesterday and it turned into a four-hour ordeal. But it was pretty cool. After the fitting, I was able to get onto the field. It was amazing. Today we will film the commercial and I can't wait. Here's what my day was like.

Now, Rebecca Hall is getting ready to shoot another movie in Upstate New York...more specifically right here in Albany and they are casting for parts in the movie including background extras.
