Delays and ground stops are planned at several airports in New York today due to the wildfire smoke.

As we gear up for holiday travel, here's something to keep in mind. Traveling always has some stress involved, but a study was done that identified the most stressful airports in the United States. Two New York airports made the list but surprisingly this Upstate New York airport landed at #1!

Many of us are itching to get out of the Capital Region to head to other destinations. Also, this spring has been nothing but cold so getting away to warmer climates sounds great. Now there are a few more options that you can choose to fly to from the Albany International Airport.

The Schenectady County Ale Trail is nothing new but now they have another option for those who only want to be on the trail for a limited time. Plus it's half the price.

It is super convenient when you can fly out of Albany International Airport to your destination but it isn't always possible. Stewart International Airport is another option that is only about 90 miles south of the Capital Region. They are now adding an airline that will offer flights to Europe.

There are more options coming to Albany International Airport if you want to get away to somewhere warm for the holidays. Frontier Airlines announced that they will be adding direct flights from Albany International Airport to Miami International Airport beginning on November 4th.

Getting out of the Capital Region just got easier and cheaper. A discount airline is offering a very low fare to two southern locations, but only for a limited time.
