There are more options coming to Albany International Airport if you want to get away to somewhere warm for the holidays. Frontier Airlines announced that they will be adding direct flights from Albany International Airport to Miami International Airport beginning on November 4th.

There will be non-stop flights that will run twice a week departing from Albany on Sunday and Thursday nights beginning November 4th. Those same flights will return from Miami on Sunday and Thursday afternoons according to the Times Union. Round trip airfare for this flight will be as low as ninety-eight dollars. This will be a nice addition to the options that the Albany International Airport had announced earlier last month with service to Miami. This will also be a year-round service.

Last month, American Airlines added a nonstop seasonal flight from Albany International Airport to Miami, Florida starting on November 6th. The flight that will start on November 6th will depart and return on Saturdays. This limited service running from November 6th, 2021 through April 2, 2022.

Frontier Airlines currently has non-stop service from Albany International Airport to Orlando and Denver. They are also adding service from Stewart Airport in Newburgh to Orlando beginning in October and Tampa and Miami starting in November.

I just hope we are still able to travel when the holidays roll around. Hopefully, things will continue to trend back to normal so that we can visit family, friends, and go on vacation into the holiday season. This new flight will surely help.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
