After 14 years, Jillian's of Albany on Pearl Street in downtown Albany  is closing it's doors and going out of business. Saturday August 11th is the last night they will be open. The band that had some of the biggest hits in the 90's with 'Hey Man Nice Shot' and 'Take A Picture' are coming to Jillians of Albany.  The band coming off a small tour with Bush & Chevelle will rock Jillians stage on March 6th.

On Tuesday night, Albany was the home of Pop Evil's private concert at Jillian's, and Q103 was there to catch all of the action. Along with popular headliners Pop Evil, five other bands also performed: Silversyde, Museum Guards, The lost Sons, Finding Clyde and Kyng. I was there for four of the bands, and it was a fun-filled night complete with new and awesome music.

The band Pop Evil was in the Capital Region on Tuesday September 13th for a low dough show at Jillians in downtown Albany.   Before the band took the stage they stopped by the Q103 studio's to play some tunes and tell us what was new.  The Q103 Q-Tease were also at the show.  Did you get your photo with them?

Another famous  low dough show is coming to the Capital Region.  September 13th, downtown Albany is gonna rock as Q103 presents POP EVIL at Jillians 59 North Pearl Street.  The first 103 tickets will be just $1.03! So just how do you get these tickets?

I just had a gig fall in lap for this Friday at Jillian’s of Albany. A pretty cool gig too. Turns out we’ll be opening for Ernie and the Automatics. A band that features members of Boston, Peter Wolf’s House Party Five and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band.
